-Lettre sans date : « Non dubito che lei non habbia represso molte volte l’ignoranza del P. Harduino sopra l’epocha di diverse città perche a fabbricato senza riflessione et correndo sopra materia da lui mal intese; mi diveca questi giorni passati il gesuita che l’a portato a scrivere il suo Antirrhetico doppo che li feci vedere molte medaglie che non disse, queste medaglie sono più intiere e non se lo puole negare; bisogna che confessi che il P. Harduino ha fatto male di scrivere cosa che solamente parevano e delle quali non sapeva altro. Questo nonera arte sua et ha fatto male.
