Grand documentOriginal passage from the "Grand document".
Lettre du 24 juillet 1719 (sans lieu): J. Bridges to H. (Rawl. 3. 57). Sends particulars of some papers in the Ashmolean Library he wants copied: a month’s time will be soon enough. Hopes Neubrigensis will be ready by then. Of the eight Saxon medals or coins he showed H., finds only three in Sir Andrew Fountaine’s list, and two of them wrongly represented. Mr. Tillemans is making draughts of the Greek statues at Lord Leinster’s house at Easton Neston, near Towcester. Account of a gold medal found in Thrapston field, near Kettering (Oxford, Bodleian Library, MS Rawl. letters 3 fol. 106).
