I carried Mosieur Justell, & Slingsby Master of the Mint to see Mr. Sheldons collection of Medaills; the series of Popes was rare, & so was among the Moderns several, especially that of John Husses Martydome at Constance; of the Roman Emp: Consulars: some Greeke, &c both Coper, Gold, Sil: not many truly antient; a Medalion of Otho, P: Aemil: , &c, hardly antient. They were held a thousand pound price, but not worth I judge above 200 pound, (there being many not truly antique). [de Beer 1955, vol. IV pp. 396-7; Burnett 2020b, pp. 1205-6]
