-Letter of 26 June 1796 (from Vienna): “Ich habe es schon anderwärts erfahren, daß H(err) Abbate Sestini fortfahre numismatische Supplemente herauszugeben, und zugleich vernommen, er habe mich darinn nach Herzenslust ausgescholten, daß ich mich unterfangen habe zu behaupten, I. daß die Münzensammlungen der grossen Herren in Rom centum servata clavibus sind, II. daß ich die Authenticität vieler Münzen, die er herausgab, in Zweifel gezogen habe.
