-Lettre du 19 août 1738 (de Cadiz) : «... pasado mañana entregaré al ahijado de vmd el Maestro Miguel el monetario reformado y me alegraré le sirva a vmd para colocar sus monedas y medallas, si tuviera vmd algunas duplicadas estimaré me las mande para escoger las que me pudieren faltar a mis series y yo ejecutaré lo mismo con mis duplicados devolviendo de ambas partes las que no sirvieren para canjear con otros anticuarios que es el modo de breve formar medallerías...» ( (Sevilla, Biblioteca Capitular y Colombina, BCC 59-3-44, f° 37r-v ; Salas Alvarez 2003, p. 74 ; Salas Alvarez 2008, p. 158).
