-Lettre du 31 août 1737 (de Genova): “Non so neppure io che mi dire del profondo silenzio di più d’un anno del Padre Panel Gesuita a cui inviai la sua lettera col libro delle medaglie d’oro, col mezzo del Padre [...] gesuita dimorante in Marsiglia, essendo tale l’ordine che avevo dal [c. 151 v.] detto Padre, e non contento di ciò gli feci una copia della mia lettera dandogli ragguaglio di tale invio che mandai col corriere in appresso; poi vedendo non avere verun riscontro gliene scrissi un’altra quale indirizzai a Lione, ad un Padre della stessa Compagnia mio amico acciocché gliela trasmettesse e ne pur di questa ho avuta risposta.” (Firenze, Biblioteca Marucelliana, BVII, 25, f° 151r-152r – online).
