Lettre du 18 janvier 1608 (de Padoue): "Nella Chiesa vecchia di S. Pietro io non ho per inconveniente, che si trovino Medaglie di Costanzo, sebbene sarebbe necessario di vederne alcuna, e mi pare che si possa fare fondamento sopra l'ambizione del medesimo notata dagli Storici, e sopra la fatica, che egli fece introdurre Scisma nella Chiesa con favorire gli Ariani; che non disdice punto ch'egli volesse lasciar memoria di sè nella principal Chiesa del Cristianesimo ancora colle Medaglie, poichè s'arrogò l'autorità di convocare Concilj, e far credere il mondo a suo gusto" (Baglioni 1744, p. 38).
