Lettre du 8 février 1574 (de Florence): "Serenissimo Principe, In fra certe poche massarizie d'una donna morta senza eredi, vendute per ordine di questo Magistrato a' Puppilli, s'è trovato una medaglia di bronzo senza roverscio, la quale inclusa mando a Vostra Altezza e vedesi che viene dal buono. Di queste medaglie di bronzo me ne truovo una scatoletta, avute di varie luoghi e credo che gli sia qualche cosa di buono, quando siano grate a Vostra Altezza gli le portarò o manderò, come a Lei piacerà, alla quale bascio le mani, che Idio la conservi felicissima."
