-Lettre du 27 janvier 1776 (de Florence) : “Nondum eni(m) legi commentarios tuos, quos Pellius noster nocturna diurnaque manu versat, ut eorum laudem n(on) multis verbis adornata(m) iis literis mandet, quae Novelle letterarie vulgo appellantur [...] “Bibliopolas e Florentinis nobiliores, in quibus Paganum, ad emenda exemplaria de tuis aliquot, sum cohortatus; frustra: ajunt enim ejusmodi libris n(on) delectari cives suos.
