-Lettre du 19 mai 1719 (de Paris) : sur un vol de pierres gravées du cabinet du roi. Un des joailliers interrogés avoua :« qu’il en avait acheté du nommé Marais, qui était laquais de M. l’abbé de Louvois et est à présent au service de M. de Courtanvaux, ce laquais lui ayant dit que, son maître ne lui ayant rien laissé comme à ses camarades, la famille lui avait donné ces pierres et médailles » (Paris, BnF, Méd., Archives ACM C1 ; Sarmant 1994, p. 104, note 36).
