S.: "N’oubliez pas, je vous supplie, cette médaille d’argent romaine de la République qui est beaucoup plus pesante que les deniers ordinaires où le nom de Roma est écrit en creux sous un bige et y a une tête sans barbe à deux visages de l’autre côté, et choisissez des plus pesantes" (Montpellier, Bibliothèque de l’École de Médecine, Ms. H 271, fol. 94; Tamizey de Larroque 1894 vol. 5, lettre LI, p. 620-627).
