Lettre du 2 mars 1622: "Mi fu detto ultimamente che Sua Eminenza il Signor Cardinal Borghese haveva raddunato insieme una gran suppellettile antiqua, dove si veggono istromenti di rame d'infinite sorte, vasi, ornamenti, pesi, et altre cose curiose che riempiono una camera intiera, la quale non si mostra facilmente ad ogni uno per il pericolo che c'è di lasciarne rubbare qualche pezzo" (Roma, Biblioteca Apostolica Vaticana, Barb.
