9 Febr. 1623 (from Paris): “Quanto alle medaglie del Sr Rockox io le stimo assai piu ch’egli non fa, et haveva desiderato di rimandarle per non privarnelo principalmente, et poi secondarimante per mantenere credito, et accrescergli la voglia di communicarmene dell’altre, d’ogni metallo, con quella certezza di doverle ricuperare fidelmente. Ma poi che V. S. non lo trovo apposito, io farò cio ch’ella me consiglia, et gliene rendero le dovute grazie con il prossimo ordinario. Se non ho tempo per questo di che dubito assai et non manchero di lodar le migliori comesi deve, anzi di cercar qualche altre cose in scambio, che potesse essere di suo gusto.
