Lettre du 27 avril 1757 (de Canterbury): The death of Mr. Barrett intestate necessitates the dispersion of his curiosities (coins, medals, cameos etc,) B, as his son in law, has undertaken the arranging of them in order, corresponding to the catalogue P, had made, and describes how he has done this. He asks P.’s advice on several details for classifying etc. the collections for the forthcoming auction. (Oxford, Bodelian Library, MS Eng. letters d. 43 fols. 383-386).
