-Lettre du 22 sept. 1668 (de Rome) : » Il bancherotto mi ha portato questa settimana un cammeo, un medaglione et una medaglia grande et ogni cosa è stata da me consegnato al Monanni perché l’invii a V(ostra) A(ltezza). I prezzi ch’egli domanda sono: del cammeo scudi dodici, del medaglione scudi otto e quindici giuli della medaglia. Quanto al cammeo l’Agostini concorre nel mio parere che oltre al prezzo esorbitantissimo non sia cosa degna dello studio di V(ostra) A(ltezza). Il medaglione è assai bello e raro ma il medesimo Agostini stima che sei scudi sia pagato sufficientemente.
