-Lettre du 4 octobre 1670 (de Rome) : « stimerei molto opportuno il far tutto un negozio con le Medaglie Mezzane le quali procuro che l’Agostini vada mettendo insieme havendole egli, per quanto mi ha detto più volte, sparse in qua e in là, e saranno circa a dugento fra le quali ve ne sono molte rarissime e signolari, per quanto mi dice il Cammelli, ed io, da alcune poche che ho vedute, mi persuado che sia vero » (Firenze, ASF, Carteggio d’Artisti, XI, f° 284 ; L.
