7 Dec. 1619 (from Antwerp): “Scrissi a Vostra Altezza un pezzo su del studio del gia Ducca d’Aerschot, che si trova da venderé in questa citta. Et ancor che per dir il vero, questa stagione non mi pare a propositio per tratar di simil bagatelle, ho pero voluto obedire a Vostra Altezza, che mi comando col ultima sua di mandarli la lista et inventario delle robbe contenute in questo cabinetto, che va quivi annesso. Il prezzo sarebbe qualque quaranta mille fiorini in crica di questa moneta di Fiandria à 20 piacq. Per fiorino et a quel modo il compratore guadagneria poco, perche il costa quasi nulla di manco. Altro non ho per adesso, si non di raccomandarmi humilissimamente nella bona gracia di Vostra Altezza Serenissima, alla quale baccio con tutto il core la Serenissima mano” (Rooses & Ruelens 1898 II, no. 197, p. 238).
