-Lettre du 1 juin 1743 (de Rome) : “Il consaputo Vailante già sta sotto al torchio, e il primo tomo si va stampando, ma in breve uscirà alla luce tutto il corpo intiero e questo sarà al ordine per il prossimo mese di Agosto, e subito si trasmetterà con esserne avvisato, e allora consegnierà il danaro, mentre già è tra li associati che secondo il di Lei ordine lo feci notare e ne stia pur sicuro; non si meravigli se va in longo, la cagione è perché sempre capitano cose nove da aggiungere de modo che verrà più copioso e purgato.
