Lettre du 15 mars 1583: "Con la de V. S. Illma. de 15 del pasado recibí mucha merced y con los diálogos que faltaban. Paréceme que la tabla, que yo saqué, ha parecido demasiado larga y assí no se saca provecho della; recibiré contento con ella y que para la memoria me servirá y, por havella trabajado, holgaré de tenella. A lo del entendimiento del elefante me parece está bien respondido. Gran riqueza ha topado V. S. Illma. con las mil medallas de plata, y en tantas es impossible que no aya muchas más que dobladas. Las que no hiziessen falta, por estar muy dobladas, holgaría yo de tomar y pagallas conforme al precio que han costado. (...) Fulvio Ursino pone en la pág 88 una medalla de Huesca muy extraordinaria de las que se hallan acá, ni aún con semejante roverso no veo que se hallen de lugares de España sino con los Duumviros.
