-Lettre du 1 novembre 1725 (de Verona): “Se i dissegni delle medaglie con l’Anfiteatro non son fatti li sospenda, perché il prezzo me ne pare esorbitante. Sarebbe improponibile in questo modo stampar libri con migliaia di medaglie. Prima dunque del dissegno prego il Sig. Bianchi mandarmene una descrizione: cioé in quanti Imperatori lo abbia, e se si vegga con statue al di fuori benché vediamo nel colosseo di Roma che non [c. 35v] v’erano, e se le medaglie siano affatto indubitate, e quale epigrafe abbia quella che non ha testa.
