So he bids him hasten with the publication. He gives news of the small body of English people here - Mr. and Mrs. Hampson; the consul, Mr. Crawley, who is always close by and pursues extensions of his already plentiful collection of medals. He thanks him for the present of Rhine wine, which lacks however the sparkle of champagne in which they drank together in O’s. good company.
