Now that the business of the harvest is over and the Berwick carrier is again plying, he is returning R’s box filled with plants, (40 very nearly named and listed at the bottom of the letter) ones which R. asked for or which S thought he might like. Also he has put up in a small box some old Scottish coins (mostly silver) in separate papers with the King’s name written on, from Alexander 3 to James 6.
