The Vice-Chancellor and the Curators were exceedinge well satisfy'd with, and very thankefull for your great charity and munificence to ye publique. Care is taken, that your name and gift be recorded in our Register to your deserved honor, and the incouragement of others (by your good example) if not to an equall, yet to a like liberality. and sure I am, it will be an honor to you and a comfort to your freinds, when they shall find in our Register, that you haue beene so great a Benefactor to Bodlye's Library.
