Lettre du 10 juin 1574 (de Arezzo): "Serenissimo Gran Duca Signore mio Osservandissimo, Mando a Vostra Altezza Serenissima la tanto da padre Contrino lodata medaglia dell'Artemisia e con essa sette altre, in fra le quali una di Commodo col riverso della dea Tellure e se o non piglio errore, una di Aristotile o di tale che lo somiglia. Io che ne ho poco iudizio gliene mando per antiche, ricevale dal buono animo e pronto al farle grato servizio..."
