'OTTO on the coin you mention seems to me an Argum^t of its being spurious. The acients writ it OTHO. Virgil would have writ it OT\H/O, with the Letter or Aspirate h over the Lie. Aulus Gellius assures us that this was Virgil’s way of writing the h … So thatI can hardly think that the H would have been omitted in the time of Otho.'
