'Hon^rd S^r, We have no Account in our Registers what Number of Goyns were given by D^r. John Barcham to Archbp. Laud. Neither do I find any mention in them that Archbp. Laud rec^d. any of those Coyns he gave to our Publick Library from the D^r. The Archbp. gave us a great Number, & we have a Catalogue of them, which is lodged in our Archives. It contains three folio Vol 8^o. & you may command a Sight of it wⁿ. you please.' (Hearne 1885, vol. 4, p. 395; Burnett 2020b, p. 416)
