Grand documentOriginal passage from the "Grand document".
'My worthy friend Dr Hacket favors me with the happy opportunity of being iust to my promise of sending a few medals which I could not transmit so well by any other hand. I am only afraid that since you did not send me a catalogue of what you wanted that many of them may prove duplicates, so that I must entreat you upon the receipt of these to send me a List of those you have not, & I shall do my utmost to supply you with them. Sr I rece’d the peece you were pleased to send me of Fabius Columna together with the Durk, which I most humbly thank you for, assuring you that if you will give me an account of what you desire & in to whose hands I must deliver it I shall be more expeditious for ye future.
[PS:] The 20 medals that Dr Hacket will deliver you are all genuine & Indifferent perfect, except the Otho, and Domitia, which notwithstanding are very true. Domitia is much rarer then Otho in silver.'
