Grand documentOriginal passage from the "Grand document".
'I have been (with Mr Wotton) to see Mr Stonestreet; who is, every way, a most excellent and admirable person. He is truely Master of such a Collection of Natural Curiosities as I had never seen before: Nor do I expect to see the like again. I am extremely well pleas’d, for both your sakes, that there’s a Correspondence begun betwixt you; which I heartily wish long to continue, for the benefit of the public as well as the private happiness and comfort which it will assuredly bring to your selves. He is likewise nicely skill’d in Antiquities of all kinds; and especially in Medals and Coins, of which he has a good stock.' (Oxford, Bodleian Library, MS Ashmole 1816, ff.523-4; Burnett 2020b, p. 834 n. 115)
