Grand documentOriginal passage from the "Grand document".

'I find my Lord Archbishop entertained you kindly in his library: I know his Grace has a good collection of coins. Pray did you meet with any of our Saxon kings, that were strangers to you? I do very much wonder that we have not greater store of the antiquities, both of that nation and the Danes, discovered in these northern counties. Certainly there is still room for the industry of antiquaries, as to these particulars; and we may (if we are not wanting to ourselves) learn much more than the authors hitherto extant have been able to teach us.' (Hunter 1832, vol. 1, pp. 124-7; Burnett 2020b, p. 868)
