Abstract from EMLO: Mainly about coins. Few treatises concerning English coins; those in the Cotton library disappointing. He discusses individual coins such as Le Liart and Le double d'Irlands mentioned in Tyery's book. Are they silver? and he puts several queries about the date at which brass and copper coins were in use. He has not yet written out his last chapter for the Abp's. perusal; as soon as he gets it back with his emendations he will despatch it to T. along with his 3rd. part. This part he finds the most pleasant of the three. "But I find what was with pleasure made serviceable to myself in my own private study needs a deal of trimming before t'is fit to go abroad". He asks T. to inform him of what Mr. Strype says to him in his late preface, he has not he thinks given him any just cause to be angry with him.
