'After about 5 years residence here I am asham’d to have met no more of ye medalls of yr Ld Catalogue. I send now [blank space] wch are there mention’d, wth others wch I guess may be.* & others not mention’d by P. Hardouin (tho I find some most of them in Strabo). Give me leave to assure yr Ldsp yt I neglect no opportunity of procuring them. & tho I have been so unfortunate in ye Lshps service, I have it has \given me a relish for antiquity &/ ye advantage of buying for my self for 300 li. out of wch I hope at my return some may be found yt may be acceptable to yr Ldsp.
