Principe il Signor Cardinale Gasparo Carpegna Vicario di Nostro Signore», In Roma per Gio. Battista Bussotti dédicace signée: Gioseppe Monterchi, pseudonyme de Bellori (daté après 1679). Reca l’annotazione antica: «Bellori voleva fare di questo suo libro una seconda stampa accresciuta di altri medaglioni della Bibl. del Card. Carpegna, come lo mostrano le schede inserite in questo libro da lui medesimo». Commentaire de Guy Meyer : il s’agit d’un volume imprimé avec des apostilles de Bellori ou des feuilles manuscrites ajoutées en vue d’une réédition. C’est d’ailleurs un des arguments (pas le seul) pour attribuer ce livre à Bellori. L’édition italienne (et plus tard, à l’identique à quelques détails près, celle réalisée au Pays-Bas) ne porte que le nom du graveur, Bellori n’y apparaît pas. (fr)
