Guy Meyer: sur la collection de l’abbé Charles d’Orléans de Rothelin (1691-1744), cf. son Éloge dans l’Histoire de l’Académie des Inscriptions, 18 (1746) [1753], p. 390: près de 8 000 pièces d’argent, 300 médaillons impériaux, 400 médaillons des rois et des villes grecques, 900 quinaires, parmi lesquels plusieurs en or, près de 9 000 petits bronzes impériaux, « qu’il donna peu de temps avant sa mort ». Il avait repris une partie au moins de la collection du duc du Maine qui avait été constituée par Vaillant. (fr)
