Grand documentOriginal passage from the "Grand document".
'An almost identical list [to V&A MS 86. J. 13] (only of the coins) is in the Bodleian Library, MS Ashmole 1140, ff.339–40. It was originally folded up and given the description ‘An Account of ye Meddalls heretofore in the Kings Clossett.’ It differs only in minor omissions, so must presumably be a copy of the V&A list, or else come from a common ancestor of both.'
