Grand documentOriginal passage from the "Grand document".

'I received a letter from Dr. Kennedy desiring my assistance in his intended work which he is now about publishing, being an account of all his coyns of Carausius. I sent him my proem to the history of Carausius, which I projected, but left off upon Dr. Genebrier’s coming out. Yet I could have wrote that history more particular than he has done, especially in regard to religion, but the booksellers have discouraged me from publishing, for they never can be brought to make an author any reasonable satisfaction for his labors.'
