'After about 5 years residence here I am asham’d to have met no more of y^e medalls of y^r Ld Catalogue. I send now [blank space] w^ch are there mention’d, w^th others w^ch I guess may be.* & others not mention’d by P. Hardouin (tho I find some most of them in Strabo). Give me leave to assure y^r Ldsp y^t I neglect no opportunity of procuring them. & tho I have been so unfortunate in y^e Lsh^ps service, ~~I have~~ it has \given me a relish for antiquity &/ y^e advantage of buying for my self for 300 li. out of w^ch I hope at my return some may be found y^t may be acceptable to y^r Ldsp. I have some of y^e cities y^r L^dsp wants tho’ w^th different reverses,* & I cou’d wish you w^d please to inlarge y^r co’mission y^t I might send them.'
