'Mr. Selden made great use of Coins in his books, yet he had no Collection, or but a slight one, of them, but had always recourse to Sir Robert Cotton’s, wch is the reason that Things of that nature did not come with his books to the Bodleian Library; but then he had many ancient Marbles wch came to Oxford with the books.'
