John Greaves ; much to the Satisfaction & Content of the Archb<sup>p</sup>. as I learn from his Letter to M<sup>r</sup>. Greaves dated Jan. 13. 1640/1. They should not therefore have been put into a new order (much for y<sup>e</sup> worse) a few Years since, at the Motion of M<sup>r</sup>. John Masson the French Man, who has not the Tithe of the Learning that M<sup>r</sup>. Greaves had. I think M<sup>r</sup>. Greaves drew up the Catalogue also of the Archb<sup>p</sup>.'s Coyns, which is now amongst his MSS. But of this I am uncertain.' Laud were plac'd in their several Cells in the Gallery by the Care and Direction of Mr. John Greaves ; much to the Satisfaction & Content of the Archbp. as I learn from his Letter to Mr. Greaves dated Jan. 13. 1640/1. They should not therefore have been put into a new order (much for ye worse) a few Years since, at the Motion of Mr. John Masson the French Man, who has not the Tithe of the Learning that Mr. Greaves had.
