'To day Dr Hudson shew’d me the following Coyns [six in number], wch he recd from Mr Wase (Son to the ingenious Xtopher Wase late Beadle of Law in this university) ... The said Coyns are all Brass of the 3d magnitude. Mr Wase (who is a man of Parts & some Curiosity) has other Coyns in his Custody, wch designs to leave to the College, where there is already a Collection, I am inform’d by one who knows.'
